about

In 2014 I decided to let go of the Hardcore bassdrum in a lot of my tracks, and focus on something else instead: Techno (even though I did lots of tracks with speed and distortion "on the side").

The idea here was to reduce Techno to its most basic elements; drums, bassline, percussion, synths; to use that as a framework and add more and more complex layers to it, until an experimental whole was the result.
The second idea was to go back to 60s and 70s psychedelic music and draw a lot of influnces from there. My thought was: what if the hippies had sequencers and drum computers? So there are a lot of Krautrock and psychedelic sounds here - but in a loop, this time.

Other influences were Chiptunes, Doomcore, Rock'n'roll, Goth Pop - a heavy love for Detroit Techno, Acid and Oldschool Hardtrance... a little bit of everything, really.

(Almost) All of these tracks were sequenced "live": I hit record and switched channels on and off and tweaked the knobs... just like the old times!

This period started around the turn of 2013/2014 and ended with the turn 2014/2015; so here is a collection of most of my outings in that time. Released tracks and rarities.

Oh, another thing: I had (and have) a liking for over-length tracks; so a lot of the stuff here is somewhere between 5 and 15 minutes.

I hope you have fun while listening, and enjoy it a bit.
