about

i always was intrigued by ancient arabia, the orient. babylon, egypt, mesopotamia... and found it very shameful that after 9/11 a motion of anti-arabism started to spread.
the arab sessions are tracks inspired by my impression of arabia and the orient, through films and pictures and media generally... think old books, paintings, stories...
there is so much beauty and inspiration for me in that part of the world and i hope the hostility of "the west" and this place will be over in the future and we can be together in a civilized and brotherly way.
the star session were done more or less at the same time as the arab sessions. what defines them sonically is very reduced, "vintage" synthesizer sounds, and a big space, galactic theme... think old 50s scifi or strange futuristic audioplays.
i tried to induce some spacey impressions with these tracks.
